Daniel Brandt shares hypnotic new single ‘Steady’

Daniel Brandt, of lauded German electroacoustic outfit Brandt Brauer Frick, leads the apocalyptic rave with his third solo album Without Us — a multimedia project that clashes head on with the spiralling chaos of our times, trying to make sense of the world as it unravels.

New single Steady provides a moment of reflection as much as it continues the album’s propulsive nature. “I have such vivid memories of spending hours listening to that simple loop, walking around the desert, returning to the cabin, and revisiting it over and over. I’d add small elements here and there, taking my time and allowing the loop to evolve slowly. It became a meditative process, deeply connected to the vast, open landscape around me. The track reflects that feeling of repetition, reflection, and calm that I experienced during those days.”
