Penguin Cafe share new single ‘Galahad’ and announce 2023 UK Tour
Penguin Cafe share their latest single Galahad from their upcoming album Rain Before Seven… on Erased Tapes along with details of a UK tour later this year.
Galahad is a triumphant celebration of Arthur’s beloved dog who died, aged 16, written in an irrepressible 15/8 time signature.
Speaking about the track, Arthur explains; “I wrote this about my dog Gally, who lived to a great old age and was there for many important parts of my life — and I think it’s more generally a piece about remembering friends and family who are no longer alive but are still a hugely positive part of one’s consciousness.”
