As the label’s tenth anniversary celebrations draw to a close, the latest Erased Tapes compilation, featuring new and unreleased music as well as a selection of its tenth year’s highlights, is now available.

Curated and sequenced by Erased Tapes founder Robert Raths, Erased Tapes Collection IX also contains tracks from label favourites including Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, Kiasmos and Ben Lukas Boysen, as well as Penguin Cafe Orchestra’s Kora Kora taken from the re-issue of their final studio album Union Cafe.

Previously a Rough Trade exclusive as part of their label focus, Erased Tapes Collection IX features a brand new, unreleased song by Masayoshi Fujita titled Cloud Of Light, a Matmos edit of Illogical Lullaby by fellow Japanese artist, vocal performer and the latest addition to the family, Hatis Noit, as well as Unfolding off of Rival Consoles’ highly anticipated new album Persona.

Curated and sequenced by Erased Tapes founder Robert Raths, the compilation also contains tracks from label favourites including Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, Kiasmos and Ben Lukas Boysen joined by Sebastian Plano, as well as Penguin Cafe Orchestra’s Kora Kora taken from the re-issue of their final studio album Union Cafe.

The striking cover artwork shows an installation by South London artist Rob Lowe aka Supermundane, commissioned by Erased Tapes for the opening of their Sound Gallery in East London and celebration of the label’s 10th anniversary.

About the four metre high installation, Lowe says:

I wanted to make something that celebrated connectedness. A lot of my work is about interactions between lines and playing with expectations. The result is a piece made of ten elements that is greater than the sum of its parts.
— Supermundane
